Pregnancy Massage — This a large focus and passion to my practice. I offer the pregnancy massage with the Body Cushion™ which allows the pregnant woman to lie on the massage table face down with very supportive foam cushions that are adjustable throughout the trimesters. Pregnancy Massage may help with low back pain, pubic symphysis syndrome, sciatic pain, edema, better sleep, reduce stress and help prepare for labour and birth.
Postnatal Massage — now that you are caring for this beautiful new baby, it also a very important time to take care of yourself. Your body needs time to recover and heal. Massage therapy may help you with low back pain, scar healing, abdominal weakness, shoulder tension from breastfeeding and more. For mothers who birthed naturally without complications they can book a massage as soon as they are comfortable.
Post Caesarean Massage — it is good to wait 2 weeks prior to surgery and when the incision is fully healed. Massage may help with healing scar tissue, help with compensating areas, reduce the inflammation and increase the circulation to the area.
Sports Massage — Being active is very important in my lifestyle. If you are active in boot camp, x-fit, mountain biking, running, kayaking, skiing or training for an event massage therapy can help you recover faster, reduces your injuries and improves movement and flexibility.
